I’ve been tutoring Maths and Physics (GCSE & A-Level) for three years. I began by working independently and later joined a tutoring center before eventually starting my own tutoring service, where I taught up to ten students per week.
My subject knowledge comes from studying Maths and Physics at A-Level and continuing both in my degree in Mechatronics and Robotic Systems.
My passion for tutoring comes from my own A-Level experience. The jump from GCSEs hit my confidence hard — I often felt behind and struggled to engage in class. Getting a tutor changed that for me; not only did my grades improve, but I finally understood the content and felt confident again.
Those experiences shaped how I now support students. When I started tutoring, I realised there was room to offer more than just academic help.
That’s what led me to launch my own service — a space where students receive guidance with their wellbeing, revision planning, and time management, while tutors also benefit from one-to-one support with lesson planning and resources.
My goal has always been to build an environment where both students and tutors feel supported, valued, and equipped to succeed.
With Excel Tutoring, all the hard work has been done for you. All we need from you, is trust and co-operation.
